Raleigh-based Advance Auto Parts acquired the rights to the DieHard brand - covering DieHard-brand car batteries and the ability to develop the DieHard brand into other automotive and vehicular categories - in 2016 from Transform Holdco L.L.C., the holding formed in late 2018 to acquire a bundle of Sears assets in the wake of Sears' bankruptcy filing. Prior to this Bridgestone sold Interstate-brand batteries. '(The partnership) further strengthens our ability to meet our customers' needs with a brand we trust.' The systemwide stocking rollout was completed in July.

(BSRO) is changing the brand of automotive battery it sells at its 2,200-plus tire and vehicle service centers across the U.S to DieHard, the longtime Sears brand.ДЄs part of the multi-year agreement, BSRO will carry and install the DieHard range of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum AGM batteries at its Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Hibdon Tires Plus and Wheel Works retail stores.
